DT SLC - King Bed - Gym - Parking - Walk Score 90

The location was across the street from a homeless encampment, the inside of the building was grim and the apartment reeked of cleaning solutions and the cloying odor of air fresheners which resulted in an asthma attack within a few minutes. I immediately contacted the management to cancel our stay. Their response was slow and they offered no explanation or refund as the cancellation period had passed. When asked how could we know about the odors beforehand they just said too bad. I immediately booked other accommodations and ended up paying for the three weeks even though we never spent any time there after the initial 5 minutes. A terrible experience in every respect. I have nothing positive to say about the area, apartment or the management. Do not make the same mistake.

Very clean environment. Nice room, cozy

The apartment was not well cleaned before our arrival. There were several places that looked dirty, rugs and carpet, stovetop, toilet had a uterine stain, bed looked unmade, a dirty sock was in the couch when we needed to fix the cushions, all dishes had to be run through the dishwasher before we used them to eat from, dryer took 3 cycles to dry our clothes, the tray in the door of the fridge was dirty, paper towel roll was almost gone, supply closet was gross with sugar packets on the floor, the bed had divots where we slept. Parking in the garage was not listed as having a cost of 15/day.
