DT SLC - King Bed - Gym - Parking - Walk Score 90

We left as quickly as we could (same evening) Positive: Nothing Negative: I boked for 4 x 60+ year old adults. When we got there, there was 1 King sized bed. That's it!!! With a dirty old blowup bed on the floor, folded in the corner of an open space, with no blankets, sheets or pillows. We were never told of a blow up bed at time of booking or we would never have booked. Who wanted to travel for 14 hrs, arrive and have to deal with a blow up bed at 60 years old ...with no blankets, pillows, or anything to blow it up!!! Such a disappointment. Big time!!! And the people we had to deal with were ignorant about it. Even kept addressing me by some male name (not remotely close to my own name). They refused to talk to me on the phone in person, went to texting only. They refused to refund until I was threatening them. Nobody on premises to help. Self check in was not easy, they confirmed a room with us, then we found out when we arrived and had difficulty getting into the building that they switched our room without advising us, when we got there. We could not stay under those conditions, we had to scramble late at night to find a place to stay, which costed way more money than we were prepared to pay (we were desperate to find a hotel), we had conferences that started early the next morning and for 4 days following. No time to deal with the nonsense flung at us! Compensation for the extra costs of rebooking at a hotel was not even offered AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN!

Great location, a little dirty. Positive: The location was great for my needs. I was in SLC for a concert at the Delta Center and it was a 15 minute walk! Also, close to the mall with lots of food options. Negative: This is an AirB&B property. Some of the amenities feel like false advertising! The best way I can describe it is like Spirit Airlines. Want parking? An extra $30. Want to check out late? An extra $30 PLUS a $30 dollar fee…etc. It wasn’t very clean. It was pretty dusty and some odd staining. There was hair all over the bathroom like stuck to the walls and in the shower. Shower curtain was very dirty. Worst part? There was HAIR IN THE BED. Did they change the bedding? I am thinking not. Also, I was never sent any instructions or anything until asking for them, which thankfully the host was responsive.
