The rental was spacious and as described. The host was kind in communications.

The host was very nice, and responded promptly to emails and texts. The listing neglects to mention that this is a three story townhouse. There are two staircases of 17 steps each. My parents in their 80s had difficulty getting up and down them. The kitchen was nice, with good appliances. There weren’t many dishes, glasses or utensils. No sink stopper, there was dish soap, but nothing to hand wash dishes with. Two small frying pans, no pots. The carpeted areas badly needed to be cleaned since it looked like someone spilled something all up and down the hallway. The laundry area apparently has no vent; there were enormous dust bunnies up and down the walls. (Sorry, owners, not trying to bash your property here). The neighborhood is a rough area, lots of homeless folks around, but it’s really close to a lot of stores and the I-15, and we liked that. Had we known about the stairs we wouldn’t have stayed there, but we had a good enough stay that we extended our time there by an extra day. If you don’t mind stairs, it’s a fine place to stay. Good mattresses! We slept well on them.

Comms with property manager were great and attentive. The property itself was worn. The carpet had stains all over it. The fixtures on walls were loose. There were no lamps so the only lighting in the common space was from the ceiling and very bright making it difficult to unwind. Also, it should be mentioned that the property is very close to the train tracks so be prepared for train noise. It stops after 12am but was still disruptive for people who go to bed earlier than that.

This place needs attention. Carpets need cleaning, walls need painting, showers need to be cleaned. I have stayed at many rentals and this would rank at the bottom. The location is right near public transit so you can hear the light rail and the neighborhood was loud when we got in at midnight.
