stay could have been better with proper planning by hosts Positive: The property has good views, coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Lastly the owners can be contacted easily. Negative: Didn’t get the room that was selected for the first day. On the day of arrival, 1.5 hours prior to check-in it was informed that we cannot use that room because the fob was missing. We got transferred to a smaller room with small bed for same price for one day. Again on the next day we had to pack everything up and coordinate with cleaners to move to the actual room we booked otherwise we would have been charged (most probably). Due to this hassle we lost one whole day of the trip. Upon moving to the room booked, we noticed that the room was not cleaned properly and there were broken branches under the blanket. Stains on the sheet and the blanket had burn marks on it. Upon informing they changed the sheet and just put a sheet under the blanket so that the burnt marks don’t trouble us. I would have appreciated if the parking was free onsite. We were told that the parking on site will be safer compared to parking on street. Unfortunately that’s not true, the parking space is not gated and open to anyone who wants to roam around. There is a strong presence of homeless people around and sometimes they even enter the lobby area. We had an encounter with one of them once during our stay and he seemed vey aggressive and threatening. The property is not very cheap so if you can find something that is similar I recommend you go over there.

Amazing gym and shared space, okay apartment. Positive: The gym was amazing! The location felt sketchy but it was close to downtown. Negative: The sheets were polyester and static lighting happened with every toss and turn. The bed and pillows were not comfortable so there was a lot of tossing and turning and static. The duvet had no cover on it and there was no top sheet. There was no towel or washcloth in the kitchen. There were exactly two towels and one washcloth in the bathroom for the two of us. The pictures made this place look high end, but that was not the case. It is definitely closer to a low cost motel than a vacation rental - no kitchen supplies (oil, salt and pepper). However, there was a good-sized fridge and cooking range/oven/microwave.

Would have been nice to have more than just two towels for whole stay. Pump bottles in shower sucked and barely worked. Positive: Clean Negative: Crappy parking lot, no clean towels or linens. Hard to make bed as it was up against window and way to large.

The picture is not what we saw--the bedding was far from comparable. There was no throw blanket. There were only 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel which looked worn and old. There was an extra pillow in the closet but it was directly on top of a floor "mophead." There were no dish washing or drying towels. The air conditioning did not work; we had to turn a "breaker" off and on. Two mornings out of five I did not have hot water to take a shower.

The room appeared clean at first, but you can tell they don’t wash the sheets or pillows often because the pillows literally smelled like a homeless person slept on them. I had to wash the sheets myself. Also we requested a 150 refund for the spare fob key they charged us, which we never received. We initially lost the fob and requested a spare, but then we found the fob the next morning on a Sunday and told them we didn’t need it anymore. They still charged us 150 anyway for the spare fob that we never received and ignored all my messages regarding this refund. Very shady hosts.
